On September 11, 2026, IFS Group held the IFS Recruitment Forum at Ebina House Hotel, Chaeng Watthana. The event brought together more than 50 members of the recruitment team to strengthen their skills, broaden their perspectives, and improve collaboration in support of the company’s recruitment goals.
The program placed particular emphasis on psychological safety, creating an environment where participants could share their views, discuss challenges, and learn from one another openly.
The event was opened by Mr. Sapphaphet Pojasan, Chief Executive Officer, who shared his perspective on teamwork and the important role the recruitment team plays in supporting the organization’s workforce needs.

Strengthening the Recruiter’s Role: Building Trust from the First Interaction
One of the key topics of the forum was helping recruiters recognize the importance of their role as the first point of contact and the face of IFS.
Recruiters are often among the first people candidates interact with when they consider joining an organization. That first interaction can shape a candidate’s impression, build trust, and influence how they view the company from the very beginning.
The recruitment team’s role therefore goes beyond meeting the hiring targets of individual departments or locations. Effective recruitment also requires teams to support one another and share suitable candidates when appropriate, with the company’s overall recruitment goals in mind.
The concept of “One IFS One Team” was introduced during the forum to reinforce this approach. When recruitment goals are shared across the organization, teams need to look beyond individual responsibilities and work together to achieve them.

Understanding Job Requirements to Communicate Clearly with Candidates
Another key topic was the importance of having accurate information from operations teams.
Recruiters need a clear understanding of each role and should coordinate with supervisors or on-site teams to confirm job details before communicating them to candidates. Providing clear and accurate information from the start helps set the right expectations and supports smoother coordination throughout the recruitment process.
The forum also covered communication and coordination techniques for teams involved in recruitment. Better coordination can help reduce information gaps and lower the risk of candidate drop-off before they begin work at their assigned site.

Supporting Employees Beyond Recruitment for a Confident Start
The recruitment team’s role also continues into the early stages of employment.
Starting work in a new environment involves learning new responsibilities, adjusting to the workplace, and understanding how things operate. During this period, the recruitment team can remain an important point of contact for employees who need advice, have questions, or require help coordinating with other teams.
This approach extends the recruitment team’s role beyond the hiring process and helps create a better experience for new employees. Knowing that there is a team ready to listen, provide guidance, and offer support can help employees begin their new roles with greater confidence.
The IFS Recruitment Forum was therefore about more than developing recruitment skills. It helped build a shared understanding of the team’s responsibilities, from building trust with candidates and supporting colleagues across teams to communicating accurate job information and supporting employees as they begin their new roles.
Effective recruitment does not end when a candidate becomes an employee. It also means creating a strong start, where employees feel confident, heard, and supported from their first day at work.
